Israel - Family Photos

Here are a few family photos from our latest trip:
I like this one of Rob, it reminds me of when he was little and concentrating (notice the tongue). He was picking lemons in his backyard.  These lemons made the best lemonade!

   Floating in the Dead Sea
Rob & Joy floating.
The Red Sea with Jordan in the background.
An aquarium in Eilat, we loved the glass bottom boat ride which made me realize when Moses and the Israelite's crossed the Red Sea while escaping Pharaoh's army, they probably had a little coral and other interesting things in their path.
  Feeding the sharks:
Old City of Jerusalem with Lorena and our grandchildren:

Rampart's Walk - little known tourist area filled with unique views of Jerusalem.
View from the BYU Jerusalem clean and peaceful in a dirty, bustling city.
The end of our walk through Hezekiah's Tunnel - so fun!  I loved the Hebrew songs being sung by a group of 16 year old boys while we walked in this wet, dark tunnel built during King Hezekiah's time period around the 8th or 9th century B.C.  I was so grateful for the little flashlight I purchased that fit on my head.  Wish I had of had water shoes for this adventure too instead of my running shoes.
The ruins of Capernaum on the Sea of Galilee...we were surprised that this beautiful spot was little more than ruins.  For more photos of our grandchildren please see the following posts on my crafting blog:
